Is the submission of assignments and worksheets compulsory?
Yes, worksheets need to be submitted as per the subject teacher’s instructions in the time frame given. Kindly do not wait for the last minute/day to submit. Regularity of submissions are very important as marks are given for the same.
From which shop do the books have to be purchased?
There are many options available to buy books. You can choose online vendors or offline stores. For your convenience, the books can be purchased from the School as well.
From which shop do we have to be purchased school uniform?
The School uniforms are made available at the School itself.
Is it important to attend activity classes?
Academics and extracurricular activities go hand in hand to raise well rounded individuals and independent learners. It is imperative that we provide our children with an environment that fosters their overall personality and not just the academic growth. Yes, activity classes are assessed for internal grades.

When and how can we contact the teachers?
We request parent to adhere to the working timings that is 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. After the classes you may e-mail or WhatsApp the teacher concerned. In case of emergency, you may call/message at all times.
What is connecting millions used for?
Connecting Millions is a mode of communication between parents and the school for getting regular updates, circulars, events, assignments, notes, application of leaves and results.

Do the teachers and students speak only in English?
As the school is an English medium school, there is an emphasis on spoken English. Teachers converse only in English and students are expected to speak in English in school.
What is the frequency of PTMs?
We have PTMs after PT-1, Half Yearly, PT-2 . Apart from them, we meet parents, one to one to discuss student’s progress, whenever required.
Is there any canteen facility available in the school?
Yes, canteen facility is available for students from class 4th onwards.
Does the school manage transport or it is managed by a third party?
A third party provides the buses but the transport department is managed by school. An attendant is always present on each bus for the safety of our students.
Does the school provide remedial classes for weak students? If yes, can the parents ask teachers to give the remedial classes or only school will decide that?
Yes, we do provide remedial classes. They are conducted through the week and on Saturdays. The school decides the students who require remedial classes, but if parents ask for remedial classes for their ward, we do oblige.
What is the examination pattern in Green Valley?
We have Periodic Test -1, Half yearly , Periodic test -2 and Final assessment . Regular Class tests are conducted to assess the child’s academic progress.
Does the school give homework regularly?
We don’t believe in giving homework. Only practice worksheets are given for the students, to practice what has been taught in school. Senior classes get homework sometimes.
Do we give projects or assignments which children have to do at home?
Projects and assignments are done in school.

As of now, we don’t intend to change the school timings.
How does the school staff ensure complete safety of the child?
The school has security guards at the campus, and the entire school is covered under CCTV surveillance.
Are the washrooms clean and child-friendly?
Yes, the washrooms are cleaned frequently during the entire day. The washrooms are child-friendly, all the facilities in the washroom including the washbasins and toilets are installed at a lower height for easier access for our students.
Are the teachers well qualified and experienced?
The teachers of Green Valley are well qualified and experienced. The school has strict HR policies, and only qualified teachers are chosen after a detailed teacher selection process.
Are the teachers stable/permanent? Or teachers keep changing?
Teachers who join the school hardly leave the school. Only in transfer cases, teachers quit their jobs. Usually, the school management ensures that the teacher completes the syllabus on time and doesn’t leave the job during the mid- session.
What are the extra-curricular activities provided to the students? Is cricket included?
Green Valley has a unique blend of academic and non-academic activities. The students in Green Valley are exposed to dance, music, sports, drama, debates, quiz and a variety of games like chess, basket ball, football and cricket too.
Does the school have an escort pass system in higher classes if there is self pick-up?
No, there is no escort pass system in higher classes in case of self pick up.
